In men, the urethra goes along the length of the penis and is about 24–30 cm long, but in women it is only about 6 cm long.
A year and a half later I had urethorlysis, pubovaginal sling and cystoscopy, rectus fascia harvest along with an abdominoplasty surgery. I now have an order for the last six months that is horrible, not fishy smell. This is not normal but it seems my doctor has wiped his hands of me. Should I see another doctor which will be number 4.

With bladder pain syndrome (interstitial cystitis) the symptoms are diverse.
You have to pass urine frequently (including at night), and maybe urgently.
